Grant Description

Since its establishment in 2012, the Infinite Hero Foundation has emerged as a significant funder of programs and initiatives dedicated to addressing the physical and mental challenges faced by military personnel and veterans. With a total of over $5.7 million in grants awarded to 51 military service organizations, the Foundation acts as an investment entity supporting innovative and effective treatments aimed at service-related injuries. Its core mission is to push the boundaries of healing through the advancement of emerging therapies and approaches, serving those who have sacrificed for their country. The Foundation seeks to fund programs aligned with its mission through annual grants of up to $100,000 per cycle, per year. These grants are specifically designated for direct program costs and must not be used to cover administrative overhead, salaries, fundraising expenses, or general operating costs. Furthermore, the Foundation prohibits the use of funds for certain activities, including but not limited to: capital construction, equine therapy (unless innovative), travel costs for participants, service dogs, political or religious activities, and ongoing events like galas or tournaments. This reflects a commitment to funding innovative and scalable programming that can tangibly improve outcomes for military heroes. Eligibility is reserved for organizations that are 501(c)(3) public charities recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. These organizations must have a demonstrated record of financial responsibility and programmatic integrity. Funded programs must serve active duty military members, veterans, or their families and fall within one of the Foundation’s five investment categories: Physical Recovery, Brain Health (including TBI and PTS), Suicide Prevention, Veteran Leadership, and Military Families. All services supported by Infinite Hero must be provided at no cost to beneficiaries and must include defined goals and evaluation metrics for impact measurement. The application process begins with the submission of a Letter of Interest (LOI). For the 2026 grant cycle, LOIs will be accepted from January 1, 2026, through June 15, 2026. Applicants must complete the LOI form online through the Foundation’s portal, with first-time users required to register and returning users able to log in directly. Programs that advance beyond the LOI phase will be notified by August 15, 2026. Selected organizations will then be invited to submit a formal grant application via the Common Grant Application platform, with final applications due by September 15, 2026. The Foundation’s evaluation process includes a thorough review of the application materials by its Board of Directors. Awards will be announced and disbursed prior to the end of the 2026 calendar year, contingent upon the execution of a formal grant agreement. All funded organizations are required to submit an interim report six months after disbursement and a final report once all funds have been used or by the end of a two-year period, whichever comes first. For further inquiries, organizations may contact Infinite Hero Foundation by email at [email protected] or by phone at (949) 397-4096. The Foundation's mailing address is 22365 El Toro Rd, #275, Lake Forest, CA 92630. Interested applicants are encouraged to review all guidelines and exclusions carefully before submitting their LOI to ensure alignment with Infinite Hero’s mission and funding criteria.
