FY27 Snow and Ice Removal Fund Grant Program NOAF (3/3/26)

The Motor Vehicle Snow and Ice Removal Safety Fund Grant Program is administered by the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety and is designed to promote public safety by supporting the purchase and installation of snow and ice removal equipment for commercial motor vehicles. User fees may be permitted as a means to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of the installed equipment, though the responsibility for upkeep lies with the grantee. For state fiscal year 2027, covering July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, the program has allocated a total of $100,000 in available funding. This amount is to be distributed among multiple applicants, and each applicant must demonstrate their technical competence in installing and maintaining the equipment.
