Winter Family Fund

At least 70% of the grants issued must support services in the specified counties. To be eligible, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, tribal entity, or a government agency. The fund expressly prohibits grant use for ongoing operating expenses, litigation, multi-year commitments, event sponsorships, lobbying, political activity, debt retirement, or endowments. Given the December 5, 2025 reference date, this window is now closed. Grants may not be issued in a given cycle if no applications meet the fund’s qualifications. Award amounts vary annually depending on the availability of funds and programmatic priorities. For instance, in 2024, the program awarded $88,727 across several organizations working on initiatives ranging from early childhood support to advocacy for vulnerable populations.
