State Pilot Program for Residential Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women (PPW-PLT)
The purpose of this program is to enhance flexibility in the use of funds designed to: (1) support family-based services for pregnant and postpartum women with a primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder, emphasizing the treatment of opioid use disorders; (2) help state substance use agencies address the continuum of care, including services provided to pregnant and postpartum women in non-residential based settings; and (3) promote a coordinated, effective and efficient state system managed by state substance use agencies by encouraging new approaches and models of service delivery.

Additional Requirements
Eligible applicants are Single State Agencies (SSA) for Substance Abuse. The District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply.
